It is because you know that first, I am not even close to "retarded", secondly, Bush cannot destroy the economies of other nations without their direct and willing complicity in the activity that supposedly destroyed ours. (It is only the face of the iceberg, but we will hear every lefty and uber-righty trying to blame only that face on the "other" side without really digging its depths).

Logical thought tells me that even Bush couldn't "destroy" the economy of the US singlehandedly, even with a willful attempt at it. First he needs the votes of many Senators and congresspeople to get it done, then the will to do it and the total ignorance of the population.

You seem to be incapable of living in reality, and believe that the President is somehow capable of Kinglike powers that the office has never been granted.

Again, if such was the case then there never would be recessions in any other time or place than in the time of Bush's terms, we look back in history and find the bubble/burst cycles to show us the falsity of these assertions...

The Bubble/Burst economy has been a standard for a long time in the US, peering back in time we see it repeatedly. Now Bush increased the lending bubble right after the 9/11 attacks on the infrastructures of our economic machine to push off a recession that would have crippled us at that time and had some success in staving it off for a short-term period. Of course, like every bubble of the past it burst, just as the .com bubble burst, and on and on throughout the past.

If we ever want to be quit of the Bubble/Burst nightmare we need to stop repeating the past and rebuilding the bubbles at each time. If we do not, then we must accept the continued cycles and the possibility of multi-bubble bursts, like happened at the end of Bush's terms.

Now, that you have found your scapegoat in the branches though, you are finished and nothing further will ever dent that "mind" of yours.

The other "recession" that approached this scale came from another Republican majority and Republican president in the late 20s. Failure to regulate leads to this kind of disaster.

Little bubbles burst all the time, but they don't threaten to fucking destroy the entire banking industry. This was something completely in a different category from the tech bubble burst, for instance.
