trump(or someone advising him) did one smart thing. he named his micro-blog app truth social, so messages from it could be called "truths." It rolls off the tongue.
Twitter sending tweets also worked. Then Musk renamed the company to "X." What are you supposed to send from X, X's? It just does not work.
He is doing this because he wants X to be so much more than a micro-blog. He wants it to be an everything app, where people can get everything imaginable: find a date, find a mortgage, learn to play a piano, it would even have its own currency and legal system(not a joke). He wanted to do this huge expansion having laid off most of Twitter's programmers, and moderators. He is not even paying the rent on most of Twitter's buildings. There is no way he can get the programmers or moderators he needs for such an expansion.
Back to the name thing, Perot wanted to make the Veterans Administration a department. There was no good reason for changing the name to department, and it would turn VA Hospitals into VD Hospitals.
I would try to hang on in the USA for as long as I could. I would not want to end up in one of those "freedom cities", so would leave America before that happens. In theory, there are plenty of countries that would take me... But I love America, so would hang on for as long as I could.
If it gets to a point that trump is trying to kill Biden, then China will do nothing for him. China has shown little willingness to take asylum seekers. They only accept people with Chinese ancestry, and a very few athletes. With the athletes, they expect them to leave China after their athletic career.
Europe would be the best bet.
Europe is making plans for a trump election. It is trying to figure out how to replace America. It will be a complex process, but they seem hopeful.
I guess I could be part of replacing Americas financial plumbing that the rest of the world uses. What a depressing thought. I would not only have to watch trump dismantle America, but help replace America...
But there is still hope trump will lose... And even if he does win, there is still hope he will not be as bad as he has said he would be. We need to keep up hope.

Surely they would make an exception for a loyal employee like Bought and Paid for Joe.
They can turn to China, but I doubt China will fund their defense.

Europe has hated America since the 18th century. But they want the hand outs. They are just throwing a temper tantrum because Trump said they have to pay a tiny fraction of their own defense costs.
And of course, Trump didn't say anything bad - it's just the little Goebbels of the DNC propaganda corps. Trump was one of the best presidents America ever had - he will be again.

Agreed on Musk and "X". IMO, that's evidence that Musk is finally going over the edge. He's botched his Twitter efforts from the beginning.
