'Off the rails': New Tucker Carlson project for Fox embraces conspiracy theories

Isn't $30 million enough for him? Or is it possible he believes some of this stuff? Iow, is entitled Tucker deranged as well as greedy? :dunno:

That's a problem I've always had with Alex Jones - deciding how much of his BS he believes, if any.

Greed is like being addicted to heroin; there's never enough to completely satisfy.

These assholes are going to keep cranking up the temperature and Americans are going to end up dead.

If that happens, let's hope Tucker's body is among the dead.

I have watched all three episodes of his Patriot Purge now. I'm neither convinced nor impressed by it. His evidence presented is mostly anecdotal from a handful of participants. It doesn't give a good overview of the events that occurred.

I did pick up on one bit of trivia that he put in. The officer that shot Ashley Babbitt fled the scene after the shooting. That alone should have been reason for his termination. If he shot her because he thought she, and likely others, present were a threat, fleeing only says he fucked up and knew he fucked up in shooting her. He certainly didn't follow federal use of force guidelines for officers. That's abundantly clear from the video alone.
That Carlson shows another instance where the officer who shot her had his weapon drawn and was casually pointing it in an unsafe direction to include potentially hitting several congressmen, is yet another reason this POS should be terminated.

What evidence does Carlson give that the shooter fled?

See the video he uses. The shooter fires, then retreats back into the room or whatever space is behind him immediately afterwards.

Look at where Byrd's weapon is pointed. He also has his finger on the pistol's trigger. He should be at high ready with his finger beside the pistol and not on the trigger.

an alternative is this:

Byrd by his actions shows he's either totally incompetent or extremely poorly trained, or both.

What does all of that tell you?

That Carlson isn't focused on the details of what happened, but rather on a good narrative that sells his show. That's normal.

Agreed. Normal for assholes, maybe. He wants that Hannity money and he's willing to sell his integrity to do it. Even Bill O'Reilly never went that low.

Well, I guess FOX could use robots like CNN does... Ever watch Anderson Cooper? Robot, definitely a robot...

Their evening shows are no better than Fox's in terms of actual journalism. They're all talking heads. Cooper is the coolest head among all of them. Tucker is certainly going for the Alex Jones burnout award. Lemon is a distant second or third in that category. All of them get on my nerves after 5-10 minutes, depending upon the issues. That's when go to my Tablo or streaming shows.

If I had to pick among all the idiots, I'd go for the calmest, which is Cooper. After that I'd rather watch two hours of Barney the Dinosaur with grandkids than any of the others.

I'd rather watch Carlson. At least he's animated and between smirks and laughter he's having a good time putting his bullshit out there. Cooper acts like a robot with an 8 bit brain. Emotionless, no inflection, nada, nothing. His stories lay flat. His questions are lame. If you want to at least be entertained Carlson is the guy.

Lemon and Cuomo are two idiots that somehow got jobs on television. Neither is worth watching.

Do you see a problem with a correlation between what he's saying and violence around the nation?

Not sure if you're old enough to remember the 60s, but they were contentious times with agitators deliberately agitating the population for LW causes. Now the shoe is on the other foot, but I do not see where violence by either side is justifiable. Then or now.

No, I don't. I see much--the vast majority-- of this violence coming from the Left. The bulk, vast majority, of violent protests originate from the radical Left. Left to their own devices, the radical Right would be ignored. It's hard to ignore an Antifa led mass protest that results in the destruction of a large city's downtown area. It's hard to ignore a BLM and associated group's protest that burns down a city center.

I am. And, the agitators and violent protesters were all from the radical Left. The radical Right rarely can muster the numbers and cohesion to put on a large protest. Charlottesville was very much an anomaly. The radical Right tried to hold another similar rally a few months later at Stone Mountain Georgia.
A radical Leftist organizing group, FLOWER

https://flowerunited.org/

Got a massive counter-protest going against this and caused the radical Right one to abandon it's plan. The radical Left still showed up to hold a low-grade, minorly violent protest.

I've repeatedly stated that the radical Right is individually very dangerous and violent. Individuals on the radical Right can cause mass causalities and deaths. The radical Left by comparison causes much greater low grade violence and destruction of property. Sure, usually fewer deaths are involved, but the sheer number of people who have their lives destroyed, the number of businesses ruined forever, the destruction of social networks is so massive and costly that the Left's protests simply overwhelm the radical Right's in scope that there is no comparison.

Of course you do. How else to justify murder of Americans and overthrowing the lawful government of the United States of America and our Constitution?

You have it backward. the right is the root of violence. The left is the recipient, in most cases. Left demonstrations are peaceful until the cops wade in with gas, rubber bullets, and clubs. Then all hell breaks loose.

Is ignorance really bliss? You seem to be an expert...

Let's take Charlottesville... Before the Left showed up, the radical Right held their initial protest march, the one with the tiki torches. It was peaceful and they followed their permit for holding it.
Then, the next day, the Left started showing up. The cops didn't intervene between the two groups. The Left started to get in the Right's face and that's when the violence started.

Look at Portland recently. A radical Right group holds a protest / event in a large park. Then some Antifa show up and start shit with them. The Antifa pick fights, damage property, and steal stuff.

I just finished part 1. The content looks right but I have a problem with the tone...too slick...too much melodrama. It reminds me of when I get a desert that is too sweet, it is hard to get through it. I might feel different later.

Tucker is desperate to make Sean Hannity money. Tucker is worth $30M while Sean is worth over $250M. Yes, you read that correctly.

Tucker is selling his soul to become as rich as Sean. Tucker is ramping up the Hate and Lies to boiling point in an effort to make money.

Personally, I think Tucker is more likely to catch a bullet before he breaks his first $100M than make Sean money. If he does, Fox News will make a ton of money, Sean will make even more money and Tucker's wife will be rich. C'est la vie.

They are both willing to do anything for money... Well anything but avoid vaccines for themselves.
