Globalization is a reality that happened long ago. Corporations are international. That is why they shop around for a country with the lowest taxes and least regulation. We actually rewarded companies to move away from America with our tax money.

They set up a system where they never lose. When the bankers crashed the economy in 2008, they refused to help the government solve the problem if they did not get their salaries and complete bonuses. They got them. If a worker made a mess like that, he would have been on the street immediately.
They have a system in place that guarantees more money for them every year. Their salaries are determined by a compensation board that they control.
