Gal is something my 92 year old dad uses, so "grandpa" craked me up.
We were told during the Bush administration that the President cannot control the gas prices, so I am sorry, we will have to take that point away fom Romney. It is a non issue for the President.
You can't spend 8 years blaming the last President for something then excusing the next for the same thing. Like wireless wiretapping, expanded under this President, remote controlled bombing, five-fold increase under this President, and gas prices...
The fact is the American household is over $4000 under, which is almost exactly what he said we'd be up. Almost every prediction this President made about the economy has been almost exactly the opposite of the promise.
Well, Damo, I have never given Obama a pass on any of the things you mentioned, except for gas prices, so what exactly is your point.
It was a deep recession and I believe Clinton when he stated that even he could not have turned this economy around. I think it ridiculous to expect a remarkable US recovery when things were so bad.
Obama made promises he didn't keep, oh my, I am shocked! a politician that doesn't keep some of his promises.
Another President who ran for the job and gained it while we had worse jobs numbers turned it around by double using effective policy. Maybe this President should spend less time joking at a Jobs Council about how his promised "shovel ready" jobs never dropped from the sky and instead actually working on changing the policy to match the times, actually work on getting jobs.
I wonder why nobody in Romney's camp isn't talking about how much of those dollars set aside for "Green Energy" to create jobs that "cannot be outsourced" was outsourced to other nations creating, apparently, jobs which cannot be insourced... we borrowed money to create jobs, for a "stimulus" which was then used to, in a large part, finance companies in the nation we borrowed the money from.
Maybe hat other president (who was it?) didn't have every person in the opposition refusing to work with him and dissing him on every occasion. They even turned down his lunch dates if I remember correctly. Hell no, they said the day he was inaugurated they wouldn't work with him on anything and would work solely to make him a one term president. To hell with the country...let them suffer...we'll blame it on Obama. Well I think it's going to backfire on them at least I hope it does. It really pisses me off that this group of cretins gets paid more than I'll ever see in my life to prance around doing nothing but making everyones life harder.
That other President had an opposing Senate. Unemployment was at 10.8% when he took office, and he was mentioned in the debate tonight.

This election is about to show the world whether the American nation really has become as stupid and gullible as many in the rest of the world genuinely believe.

I really think Candy Crowley should NOT have injected herself into the debate, and added to the conversation. Last I checked, it is NOT her job to be part of the debate, there were only 2 people in the debate last night. She didn't need to, and should not have, come to Obama's defense. He can take care of himself, and the fact checkers are the ones who sort out what is true and what is not true coming out of the candidate's mouths. And best of all, a big hoopla is being made by team Obama that the Lybia portion was a victory for him.

The missed point is, that for days, and WEEKS after the attack, team Obama was still saying this was a youtube video protest. He said it to the U.N., and mentioned it several times. He's going to get the hard questions about Libya in the next debate, and he will have to come clean. What did he know, when did he know it, who told him what, why was his team still calling it a youtube video protest? These are all valid questions. People also want to know who specifically informed them that it was a youtube video protest, why was security not beefed up? Yes, no Candy Crowley there next time, and no real debate. He will be asked some questions, and will have to sit back and answer.
