So you justify your addiction with abstract concepts like "my gun protects against government overreach", knowing that you will never act on those abstract concepts because they're either bullshit or you know they don't have the broad support you're hoping they do in order to hop on that bandwagon instead of lead it.

Because we know it's not to protect against the government...you just said you're not match for law enforcement or the military.
