Do you know anything at all? FDR had friends and advisers who were Jews. His political base in New York had many Jews. Few countries raised a hand to help German Jews during the war but Roosevelt ordered more help to rescue them than any other national leader.

None of that negates the post it supposedly answers. FDR was sensitive to his political environment in a country rife then with antisemitism so, yes, he was cautious. Nevertheless he issued the orders that rescued more Jews from the Holocaust than anyone else. Later he appointed a Jew to the Supreme Court, picked a Jew as his Secretary of the Treasury, was a strong supporter of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

I never even heard of Soros until I started posting on political forums, and that was from the fearful and weak Reichwingers.

Apparently philanthropists who donate billions to help humans around the world are EVIL, particularly if they are trying to help people escape from oppressive authoritarian regimes.

Gee, why would that be, hmmm?
