OK exports suffer

Well a lot of the Ford workers I know are NOT happy with Trump and his BS and are very sorry they voted for him.
Loosing thousands of dollars in profit sharing woke them up.
But they got what they wanted and now that it is coming back to bite them in the ass it is too late to go back and too bad.
And a lot of Trumps tariffs and his BBB haven't even started yet, when they do a lot more people MAGAS included will be hurt.
I'm not sure of the numbers re. union members voting, but I do remember that a few unions simply refused to endorse one candidate or the other. First time in history. Playing it safe, as it were.

What a shame that they paid no attention when the #TangerineTyrant told them that he was going to implement tariffs. I don't feel sorry for them. Lay down with jackals, wake up with fleas.
I wonder how Tlaib's followers feel about what is going on in Gaza now that they voted for Stein, or trump?

Keystone XL pipeline nixed after Biden stands firm on permit

"Construction on the 1,200-mile (1,930-kilometer) pipeline began last year when former President Donald Trump revived the long-delayed project after it had stalled under the Obama administration. It would have moved up to 830,000 barrels (35 million gallons) of crude daily, connecting in Nebraska to other pipelines that feed oil refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast."

Thanks to the idiot Biden, many good jobs were canceled because of the crying about global warming.

"Alberta invested more than $1 billion in the project last year, kick-starting construction that had stalled amid determined opposition to the line from environmentalists and Native American tribes along its route."

Bullshit. The Keystone XL would have created some TEMPORARY construction jobs, and just a handful of permanent jobs for the operators. The crude that would have flowed through it belongs to Canada and would be transported to U.S. ports and shipped to other countries.

As for U.S. production, we increased that under Biden. Our sticking spot is refinery capacity. We can pump every drop out of the Earth possible and still not bring down energy costs due to lack of refinery capacity.

Kind of odd that Canada refused to refine that crap in country.
Well the pipe line companies safety record isn't very good and MAGAS wonder why we didn't want it running near or over our important water supplies.
and they had a leak they said was only 187 gallons of oil when it finally came out that it was over 16,800 gallons.
If they are going to lie like this who can we trust them?

And under Biden we increased production to over 32 MBPD that amount was never hit under Trump in his first term.

I heard that Trans Canada got tired of the changing attitudes toward the project, and the myriad legal challenges. I believe they finally created a pipeline to the Pacific so that China can take that crap. Which is what should have happened in the beginning.
I heard the same thing.
At least it won't be destroying the water supply millions of AMERICANS depend on if their pipe leaks.

And ? Tropicana will make less money. Dont you idiots already think corporations make too much money? You should be happy. Oh that's right you don't give a shit about anything "get trump"
What makes you so stupid that you simply think they will make less money instead of just charging the customers more?

The history of business is costs go up, and businesses pass those costs on to consumers.

Taxes are one of those costs and tariffs are a tax.

trump voters can now starve as China proves once again that trump is impotent. China and Brazil have crafted a beautiful alliance since trump's last failed trade wars in his first reign of terror.

I hope those cankles kill him soon, for the sake of our moron farmers who support him.
 Beyond mere stupid. So Democrat.

Kind of odd that Canada refused to refine that crap in country.

In the earliest days of Oil Sands extraction and refining in Canada, Canada was building its own refineries often funded by US backers.

The Oil Sands were NOT profitable to extract at that point but the need for Oil and gas in both Canada and the US was seen as so critical they pushed on under the belief that once at large scale extraction it would be profitable, which has proven to be true.

It was the US who made the case to Canada that they should focus on 'extraction' and allow the US to focus on refining as Texas was already building a lot of mega refineries and those could handle the dirty crude. The argument being that consolidating refining to them would lower their cost base and Canada would get back refined product cheaper than they could refine it themselves.

As this unburdened the Canadian market also having to finance refineries almost all new projects were shelved and the industry in Canada for refining became mostly niche.

It was an understandable mistake by Canada, which as a small population country would have struggled with the financing (even with private investors) but where if they did their own refining they would have all those really high paying and stable jobs and control of finished clean product they could sell to any country and not just the US who has proven to be an unreliable partner.
