You do not do real homework. Trump's tax cut tossed a few pennies to the masses and moved billions to the top, That is what the Repubs do every time they have the power. Oligarchy is a few people controlling the country to their benefit. Teddy Roosevelt warned us of the dangers of money being passed along through generations. He said in 1906 that there was a group,in the dark, accumulating wealth and power. He saw that wealth as "different in kind" than that of a person who made a fortune with a good idea or product. That is when he installed the inheritance tax. That is also why he was busting up trusts. Money =power. They have the skills to get tens of millions of people to vote directly against their own economic best interests.

Sad to say, but since the coup by Democrats, the former federal government is really nothing more than an oligarchy.
My hope is that this will be corrected peacefully, but I don't see how. Cities are already becoming war zones. Restoring the republic on any level is not going to be easy.

The SOTNY (formerly the State of New York) is also an oligarchy. It no longer recognizes the Constitution of the United States nor the Constitution of the State of New York.

I can keep giving you data, but you obviously cannot understand it. Corporations heavily and one-sidedly fund Repubs. Senators like Sinema and Manchin also get paid. Do you think that thoughtless post added something?
