On McCain

I cannot even believe you are making this argument. I have gone through this already with an old leftist by the name of Hobbes. I am really surprised to see you pushing this RS.

Think about what you are saying. If you were in a freaking POW camp do you believe your father would give one rat's ass if your release was going to be "used against him"?

Use your head. My father would have traded places with me, never mind given a shit what LBJ had to say about it.

The entire argument is absurd on its face.

So the code of conduct scenorio invented by the ambassador and backed by not much more than McCain's word seems more plausible? It's not against the code to give up military info or to help them in PR stunts when it does not involve your dad?

I really don't know what happened, but I find this deification of the War God McCain as somewhat disgusting.

It is largely POWs that have brought his detention into question. Why aren't they beyond question.

'Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones' need I really say more...and what have you suffered or experienced first hand..this should prove interesting...no?

I once had to watch and pay for War of the Worlds. My immense suffering makes me an authority on jackshit, same as McCain's.

Go ahead and deify him all you like. All I see is another warmongering asshole.

So he went along when they were treating him well gave up military information and then decided to change course on the realease because it violated the code?

The Vietnamese Commander told the Ambassador that he refused for fear that LBJ would use it against his father. The Ambassador decided it was about the code of conduct.

Good find. I can't believe how many LIARS and COWARDS served in vietnam. Kerry and his self inflicted gun shot wounds and fake silver star...and McCain living the good life in a cushy Hanoi POW camp. For shame!

Kerry has nothing to do with it.

Again, you guys keep worshiping war party politicians but don't offer anything to support the argument but ad homs and circular reasoning.

War Monger: McCain is a war hero.
Anti-War: I don't know, there is some question about his story and he may have collaborated with the enemy.
War Monger: No way! How can you question McCain? He is a war hero.

This is why RJS is voting for the only real war hero running, that being none other than The Rudy? Only stupit jackasses and liberals would vote for anyone else, especially McCain, look how old he is, his hands shake when he talks, how is he going to take on The Hillary, who once brought every man in the White House to his knees when she screamed out "You MoFu, the next time you offer the Presidential weiner to that fat girl, I am going to slap some relish on it and put it on the barbeque"?

The Rudy is the only man who is man enough to take her on, and not lose his weiner, even Tucker Carlson says he has to cross his legs everytime he sees Hillary, why do you think that is, here is a hint, he doesn't want his weenie on an Pepperidge farm Hot dog bun, any questions?

How does it make you either "anti war" or "pro war" to suggest McCain "collaborated" with the vietnamese? Is it some badge of anti-war honor to question the circumstances of mccains captivity? I think not. None of us know what is like to be held captive for five years by enemy soliders. I personally don't give a crap if mccain talked or not. I can't imagine what he went through, and I'm not going to judge him.

I went through this crap with a leftist poster who called mccain a war criminal, because he "confessed" his war crimes to his captors. What bullshit. Sitting behind the comfort of a keyboard, none of us know or can imagine what life was like in the Hanoi Hilton.

No, it shows your an advocate for the war party when you use dogmatic and cricular logic to defend any question against the great "war hero."

Talking I would not fault him for. But lying about it and using it for political gain is kind of despicable.

Coming from you BB that is really hillarious.

Well, if he were smart and took their offer, he might not have known what it was like either.
