Now this is hilarious. I remember when McCain announced Palin as his running mate, there was a collective "Who's Sarah Palin?" from across the country. Even McCain said "she’s not from these parts, and she’s not from Washington, but when you get to know her, you’re going to be as impressed as I am." He recognized that he was taking a long shot on a virtual unknown.
Of course you knew of her since you lived in Alaska but admit it, her name meant zilch to most people, just as most governors from states you're not living in.
In addition to all the other reasons I believe she's unqualified, I'd think long and hard about voting for somebody who used her cred to write a bash-and slash book about the way she thought she was treated during the campaign. It suggests a level of spite and bitterness that's totally unbecoming in a person who may have further political aspirations.
But if she does decide to run for national office, I'll be watching to see how she attempts to mend all those bridges she burned in her memoir.
