what the hell do we have as a President now? an inexperienced community organizer who can't utter a word without a teleprompter, who was a JUNIOR SENATOR for only two years that nobody ever heard of outside of Chicago until he started running for President..good gawd the reason of why Palin who was a mayor and then a Governor of a STATE can't or shouldn't be President are so far out in left field they are hilarious..

You have a president who commands more respect with your allies and trading partners than bush could even dream about.
I grant you he may fall flat on his arse but even that will not cause the mayhem and chaos and the lack of respect for your nation that has been evident for the previous eight years.
You just cannot accept that a black democrat could be a success and you would destroy your country if it meant destroying him.

and what, am I suppose to be impressed..he was a friggen Senator from Chicago..Nobody ever heard of him until he started running for President..that's how memorable and inspiring he was.. yet you all voted for a NOBODY and are proud of it...

Now this is hilarious. I remember when McCain announced Palin as his running mate, there was a collective "Who's Sarah Palin?" from across the country. Even McCain said "she’s not from these parts, and she’s not from Washington, but when you get to know her, you’re going to be as impressed as I am." He recognized that he was taking a long shot on a virtual unknown.

Of course you knew of her since you lived in Alaska but admit it, her name meant zilch to most people, just as most governors from states you're not living in.

In addition to all the other reasons I believe she's unqualified, I'd think long and hard about voting for somebody who used her cred to write a bash-and slash book about the way she thought she was treated during the campaign. It suggests a level of spite and bitterness that's totally unbecoming in a person who may have further political aspirations.

But if she does decide to run for national office, I'll be watching to see how she attempts to mend all those bridges she burned in her memoir.

have you read the book? if not how do you know it's a bash and slash book.? she has a right to write about how she was treated by the McCain staffers and let me tell I can't stand John McCain or any of his staff.

As Dixie likes to say about Dems, if McCain had been elected Palin would have been a chicken bone away from the presidency. Had he also died in office your comment would be true, a friggin' nobody would be our president.

Actually I have Palin's book on reserve at the library and just got an email saying it's ready to be picked up, so I'll have it read over the weekend. Did you read it?

The McCain staffers have already posted emails between them and Palin, and they've been cordial on both sides. But we'll see, once I've read the book.

We who care for women and women's rights have exercised our free speech re: Palin, the same as you all have done with Obama. Why do you expect anybody to give Palin a pass, when you don't extend that same courtesy to lib politicians?
