Papal front runners. If the Black guy becomes the next pope, white Republicans will scream DEI till their buttholes explode

No I did not. I have known the Vatican city is a sovereign county for a long time. Since Mussolini gave them statehood with the Lateran Treaty in 1929.

For information purposes, Catholics do hold Masses on Saturdays; they count the same as long as they're after 4 pm here. I've attended many Saturday Masses with our Catholic friends on Saturday evenings and then attended Sunday services with our Baptist and Evangelical friends.
Not the same as what the 4th commandment ask us to do.
Do unto others as you woulld have them do unto you shall be the whole of the law.

This is irrelevant bullshit.

Jesus commands empathy and reciprocity

That is all.

I know.

This simplicity doesnt work for psychopaths and mass murderers.

Thats the point.

Those people are shit people.

I'm not saying adults aren't Baptized, but I do know that I was Baptized as a young child (the touch of water on my forehead) and have watched many Baptisms of infants the same way.
What denomination? I don't know of ones other than the ones I have stated that do that. I was baptized the first time when I was an infant into a Lutheran church, which do it like the Catholics with the cross on the head with "holy water", etc. Then later again in the Pentecostal church my mother forced me to attend when I was around 8 in an immersion ceremony inside the church (big tub, they make these things for churches, two pastors and probably 10 to 15 newly minted members fit in the danged thing. Most were adults that had converted, and then kids as they reached the "Age of Reason"... (way too young, IMHO).

Two years later I began a totally different journey when I admitted that I didn't believe in the religion and was forced to attend different classes... I've described this in the past. (not the baptism stuff, the craptacular path that pushed me out of that church).

Evangelical. I don't know (or think) the preacher used "holy water." I know they went to a creek or somewhere they could do an adult "full immersion" Baptism, but I never attended. I did have to go to a Catechetical class in my early teens to join the church. and was elected secretary for the 3 years (the maximum) in my late teens. The minister at that time took sides during a spat in the choir and many (including my parents) left the church. I remained a member and only attend occasionally anymore.

So far in this large discussion I have yet to see a single self-proclaimed "Christian" exhibiting any behaviors or speech that would make me inclined to join that religion. Christiefan comes close, but I'm not sure if she still follows the faith or not.

I want to know about the schismatic choir kerfuffle.

I Must know.

She certainly exhibits a certain level of loyalty to Catholicism even if she no longer practices the religion. She is knowledgeable and thoughtful. Jesus Christ himself would be disappointed in the JPP MAGAts who claim his name. They are not real Christians and display the worst characteristics of human behavior.
