Papal front runners. If the Black guy becomes the next pope, white Republicans will scream DEI till their buttholes explode

I'm not talking about now really... Though much of their trappings are the same. I am talking about the time Lutheran hammered that message onto the church doors...

His belief that religion was "for all" (sola scriptura)... They translated the Bible into the language of the people, stopped having Priests be the only path to reading and understanding the Bible... However the trappings remained largely the same. Priests, give them confessions, stand up sit down services (in the language of the people instead of Latin)... The rote teaching... Much remained the same.
One of Martin Luthar's main focal points was grace. He also strongly disagreed with the selling of indulgences.

No, I just define it differently. I am working with the definition of another so I am quoting.

I think there are as many Catholic fundies as there are LDS fundies, and they believe different stuff by a massive margin. Some fundies think that Matt. 27:25 means that "Jews killed Jesus"... others focus on other "fundamental" ideas and ignore other parts of the bible. I think of "fundies" as folks with a singular focus on just one specific aspect of the Bible to the detriment of others, they call these ideas "fundamental"...
Oh, I agree about Catholic fundies like Harrison Butker or Mel Gibson, to name two. My personal thought is that fundamentalism of any sort is exclusive.

Do you and Damocles prefer "fundamentalist", you poor fucking snowflakes?
I am not even a Christian and have no particular interest in that, just want to be clear in language, therefore I use quote marks because I am quoting the idea of another, their definition of a "fundie" is different than mine, this is the only reason for quote marks...

Yes. But again, what I am speaking of here with "catholic without the pope" is the trappings. They even wear the same clothes. Generally, if you didn't read the sign going in you may not know you were in the "wrong" church...

Having been a Catholic for a long time, I can attest to the fact that lots of other Christians are trained to hate them. The typical, same old idiots in this thread are just repeating garbage they were told. The day of the Sabbath, for example, doesn't matter to a true Christian nearly as much as behaving like a Christian every day of the week. That should go without saying, yet here we are.
Absolutely. Anti-Catholic sentiment has always existed in the US. There are preachers who deliver it from the pulpits while claiming how righteous they themselves are. It's preaching hate.

I will say that this is somewhat true. The sermons that I have heard don't preach hate, they preach compassion for those who think they are "saved" but are not as they haven't been "born again". Never once heard from any pulpit that they should "hate Catholics".

Have you ever seen me call anyone the C word. Have you ever called any male here a profane name?
You really are thick. You have no problem with calling out TOW or NHB while giving a pass to the many men here who use the term regularly. I haven't called you out for using the "C" word because I don't know if you ever said it.
