Pastor: I Don’t Buy Girl Scout Cookies Because ‘I Don’t Wanna Support Lesbianism'

To me this is just another example of not only southern reactionary social values but it also exemplifies one of the major criticisms I have about radical southern conservative politics. They do not believe in investing and supporting their communities. It's a value I simply do not share.
 
There's no better way to oppose lesbianism and abortion than by lashing out at a Catholic women's organization. I personally love me some thin mints, tagalongs, and do-so-dos!

I don't think he said those things with any scorn in his voice. He fully believes his words, and that women should be traditional. It sounds hateful to you, perhaps, but is he speaking with venom?

I don't buy it. Anybody who encourages traditional roles in society would at least understand this standard, probably encourage it. 'Fear' of women? More likely the fear of tradition breaking down or society morphing into a mess. A big, moral stain.

I, for instance, would encourage my future wife to dress more traditionally, and act in a becoming manner. I doubt I'd be afraid of her.

Girls learning survival skills will end America as we know it! Girls will learn how to make it on their own, and we can't have that! We have to keep education from blacks and women otherwise we will just be neutral. I can't be just a neutral middle class white guy! Our best chance of getting rich is convincing the poor that they NEED our product!

Well I hope you're looking in Amish communities or among old order Mormons. Be clear about what you want right from the start because you can't marry her and then hope to change her. And you should be focusing on intrinsic qualities like warmth, kindliness, intelligence, humor and the like, rather than superficials like clothing.
