Pastor: I Don’t Buy Girl Scout Cookies Because ‘I Don’t Wanna Support Lesbianism'

I have no problems supporting the Girl Scouts, which is NOT about feminism or lesbianism. That's incredibly stupid.

Just as I have no issues supporting Boy Scouts, which is not about machismo or homos.

Only dimwits and dullards can believe these organizations are not about teaching responsibly, self sufficiency and independence.

Really? I bet if the words were coming from the mouth of a middle-eastern mullah you wouldn't think it was ho-hum.

If these words were from an Imam or some such I'd think he was becoming Americanized. But I take your point.

And when I make this very same argument to explain some aspects of Islamic societies, guys like you all over it. So I guess it's okay for Christian pastors to have these beliefs but imams, not so much.

When compared to the subjective American experience, the Pastor is much, much closer to normal than an Imam, preaching about the standard subjugation of women. I suppose it could be a matter of degree.

Well I hope you're looking in Amish communities or among old order Mormons. Be clear about what you want right from the start because you can't marry her and then hope to change her. And you should be focusing on intrinsic qualities like warmth, kindliness, intelligence, humor and the like, rather than superficials like clothing.

Nope, just a contentious conservative girl would do fine. I know several girls my age who aren't married and don't wear dresses. Given my current social status and income I consider them above me.

These girls have honest, hard working values, warm, charitable hearts, inquiring minds, and perhaps most importantly, a thirst for debate and an ability to consider the input of their potential partners. Of course it works both ways.
