Pelosi will have to pick a VP

These are weird times, dude. Nothing about what is happening now is normal.

Why wouldn't they? They were involved. You don't forego prosecuting accomplices just because you're prosecuting the big fish.

Because they don't have the votes or public support and nobody can cite what Pence did wrong. Involved in the mess is not good enough.

Pence was abusing his authority in office by working the Ukranian President to pursue dirt on Biden.

Trump said that when he threw Pence under the bus, saying Pence talked with the Ukranian President twice about this. It's on camera. We all saw and heard it.

Talking to Zelensky about some issue is not a crime since we have no idea what he said. Why do we all of a sudden believe what Trump said.

We have been hearing for three years they have the goods on Trump and none even came close. They will be lucky to impeach Trump but they cannot convict him and certainly cannot convict Trump. Partisan optimism--just like both sides are sure they are going to win the 2020 election.

Since President Trump won’t be convicted in the Republican Senate (the sexual predator, old Bil, was not convicted in the Democrat Senate even though he comitted perjury) it’s a moot issue.

Clinton was also impeached for obstruction of justice.

Now Garud is off on another thread asking about Avenatti. Because he is too stupid to do it in the thread it belongs. Poor Garud. Let's give him some time to realize he made a fool of himself yet again.

Pence was pressing Trump's play to extort Ukraine into digging up dirt on Biden.

Trump literally said on camera that Pence met with Zalensky on September 1st (he had actually met Zelensky twice) and talked about "corruption"...in other words, to find dirt on Biden.

Involved in the mess is not good enough.

Why isn't it "good enough"...since he was involved, he should have to face consequences, no? Or are you of the position that he gets a mulligan?

pssst, just a heads up, you're posting in an "evince" thread

What votes? What are you talking about?

There isn't a credible poll I've seen that shows more people oppose impeachment than support it since these bombshells started falling last week.

CBS/Marist, YouGov, SurveyMonkey...all three show at least a plurality support impeachment.

So what public support are you talking about? The imaginary public support you conjure in your own head?

You don't know that this is true. It is pure conjecture that he was talking about finding dirt on Biden. Trying to bring Pence into this would be a bad move by the Democrats for several reasons--they have no evidence (Trump saying Pence was talking about corruption is not an illegal act) and all their time and effort needs to be spent on Trump and not wasted on people like Pence. I am just predicting Pence will not be impeached. Democrats already have more than they can handle with Trump.

You don't know that this is true.

WHAT?

Trump said Pence spoke with Zalensky about nebulous "corruption".

Now that we know Trump was sending Barr out to jetset around the globe to dig up Biden dirt, that makes Pence's meetings and discussions with Zalensky an issue.

It is pure conjecture that he was talking about finding dirt on Biden.

Per Trump's own words, they talked about "corruption".

"Corruption" in Trump world is code for Biden.

It's why Trump sent Barr all around the globe.

Don't be dumb.

Trying to bring Pence into this would be a bad move by the Democrats for several reasons--they have no evidence (Drumpf saying Pence was talking about corruption is not an illegal act)

Well, it is an illegal act if Pence was talking about "corruption" with Ukraine's President for the benefit of getting dirt on a political rival.

and all their time and effort needs to be spent on Drumpf

Hold on, Flash...TWO WEEKS AGO you were saying we shouldn't impeach Trump at all because...derp derp derpy doo. Because, in your mind, it would turn people against Democrats and generate sympathy for Trump. (Looks around) I don't see increased sympathy for Trump, I see increased anger at him and increased support for impeachment.

You're behind the curve. Well behind the curve.

I am just predicting Pence will not be impeached. Democrats already have more than they can handle with Drumpf.

What makes you think they have more than they can handle?

Maybe it's too much for you to handle, but not the Democratic Majority in the House.

Sounds to me like you're afraid that this conspiracy goes far deeper and is far broader, and you're not prepared to reconcile that with your BoTh SiDeS aRe ThE sAmE bullshit becuase you can't find an example of the other side doing what Trump, Pence, Barr, Pompeo, and all the rest have been doing this whole time...that we've been warning you about...remember? We've been warning you that Trump was abusing his authority and your response? BoTh SiDeS aRe ThE sAmE.

They don't have the votes to convict in the Senate. I don't know about impeachment in the House. YouGov and SurveyMonkey are internet polls. No self-selected poll is credible. It will need to be more than a plurality to generate public support that will affect congressional behavior.
