It was a godsend to the left only in the way Trump completely fucked it up. Yes, "that's undeniable". On Fauci, he's often been at odds with Trump but careful to keep himself from getting canned. Day before yesterday he was less careful in pointing to the Covid outbreak at the White House as an example of what happens when things are done wrong.

Pence showed his contempt for women by consistently interrupting Harris and similarly disrespecting the moderator. Maybe he thinks the strategy will help the ticket. Good luck with that. Harris was a disappointment. For someone with a reputation as a skilled litigator her cross examinations of Pence were a dud.

I E-Mailed my college prof. who was my debate tutor and moderator of hundreds of formal debates and his score was similar to mine...Harris-12, Pence-16. He is a liberal, Marty but an honest liberal.

Most liberals are more honest than non-liberals and more open minded, a condition for being honest, Earl. But I guarantee you there are plenty of honest liberals who take a different view from your professor. I thought also that Harris fell short in many of her answers, or non answers, but Pence's edge if he had one on debate points he lost with his robotic personality and bland discourtesy. In a boring man contest he would be hard to beat.
The president and the Senate determine who will be on the Supreme Court. That's Constitutional. Elections have consequences.
Increasing the size of the Supreme Court is not a function of either. FDR tried that and he lost, Trumper.

What the citizens think is another animal and a CNN poll is not an indicator of what the citizens think.
The election will indicate how the voters feel about the teams...Trump/Pence and Biden/Harris.
