From what I am reading, the rioters are looting: shoe stores, Electronics Stores, Pot Dispensaries, Pharmacies, and any store which carries liquor.

I wonder what the total cost of that will be? How many of those stores will rebuild after, vs. just leave the community without jobs or places to buy things...

LA will become a food desert. To get anything "Normal", an LA resident will need to travel several hundred miles, to another venue.

How much of the cost will be born by the troops? The troops are being told they have to feed themselves. They are going to rack up a huge credit card bill. Some do not have credit cards, which means other troops will have to rack up bigger credit card bills to cover them. There will be problems with some troops not paying back other troops.

Pedo Don is great at spending taxpayer dollars for self-serving reasons.

He won't be happy until he can have those who oppose him shot dead in the streets. This weekend will certainly be epic and a key moment in American history.

National Guard troops have day jobs which often pay a lot more than their Guard duty. They are literally losing money being sent to LA. This is why GW's use of the National Guard in Iraq resulted in mass resignations and record low recruitment. It wasn't simply because they didn't want to go to war, but because they didn't want to bankrupt their families.
