Maya Angelou? Jesus fucking christ, you used to be one of the, like, two reasonable fake "conservatives" on this site, but you have lost your fucking mind. Thanks, Trump. So, you trot out another radical Leftist as proof hum?
No, her skirt length doesn't matter here but your example is little more than a definist fallacy. As for transgender suicide rates, those CANNOT be chalked up to discrimination or repression. People in prison don't commit suicide at anything close to that rate. People in concentration camps didn't, or those in the Gulag. Some of the most clearly repressed and discriminated peoples on this planet don't commit suicide at anything close to nearly 50%.
You are just excusing a mental illness.
Lots of radical Leftists did. They're the loonies here.
I must have missed that.Already did.
Extra points apparently for having sex with kids.Sexual assault is a prerequisite for them.

Yes. The comparison being made is that apologists for the transgender community say their astronomically high suicide rate--higher than any other group--is due to repression and nonacceptance. I can point out hundreds of other groups today and throughout history that have been repressed and unaccepted by society and not one comes close to having a suicide rate that transgenders do.Prisoners, concentration camps, and the Gulag. That's what you're trying to analogize with transgenderism? ^ This is when the education system failed us. ^
I can believe that!I must have missed that.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Pete Hegseth, the Army National Guard veteran and Fox News host nominated by Donald Trump to lead the Department of Defense, was flagged as a possible “Insider Threat” by a fellow service member due to a tattoo on his bicep that’s associated with white supremacist groups.I can believe that!
Yea, I read the memo. It's up on this site a few pages back. It's a rambling, opinion of one enlisted soldier over Hegseth having that 'Deus Vult' tattoo. Hardly compelling evidence.WASHINGTON (AP) — Pete Hegseth, the Army National Guard veteran and Fox News host nominated by Donald Trump to lead the Department of Defense, was flagged as a possible “Insider Threat” by a fellow service member due to a tattoo on his bicep that’s associated with white supremacist groups.
Hegseth, who has downplayed the role of military members and veterans in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack and railed against the Pentagon’s subsequent efforts to address extremism in the ranks, has said he was pulled by his District of Columbia National Guard unit from guarding Joe Biden’s January 2021 inauguration. He’s said he was unfairly identified as an extremist due to a cross tattoo on his chest.
This week, however, a fellow Guard member who was the unit’s security manager and on an anti-terrorism team at the time, shared with The Associated Press an email he sent to the unit’s leadership flagging a different tattoo reading “Deus Vult” that’s been used by white supremacists, concerned it was an indication of an “Insider Threat.”
Trump Pentagon pick had been flagged by fellow service member as possible 'Insider Threat'

Even republicans are calling it out. This is really the type of person you think is best for the job?Yea, I read the memo. It's up on this site a few pages back. It's a rambling, opinion of one enlisted soldier over Hegseth having that 'Deus Vult' tattoo. Hardly compelling evidence.
I thought the military claim was that they'll make you better than before you joined.Oh, so because he rejected radical Leftist ideas being pushed on the military he's suddenly some sort of utter and complete racist hater hum? I'd agree that transgenders shouldn't be in the military. My basis, for starters, that as a group they have a nearly 50% suicide rate. That alone should indicate they are not mentally stable enough for military service.
Different argument there. I don't think his tattoos matter, in this case. They aren't compelling evidence of anything. He has more military service than many other, particularly ones serving Democrat presidents, Secretaries of State have had and has served at a higher rank. I seriously doubt he'd have made major being some sort of racist, bigoted, White supremacist. That sort doesn't last in military service.Even republicans are calling it out. This is really the type of person you think is best for the job?
Non sequitur fallacy.Look her up. She's on the Left politically.

Aside from that, why should be indulge people who want to undergo genital mutilation and cosmetic surgery to pretend to be what they are not? They need care and treatment, not coddling and indulgence.
You thought wrong. The military in a nutshell does two things:I thought the military claim was that they'll make you better than before you joined.
Wrong. Statements of fact and questions related to a discussion are not non sequiturs.Non sequitur fallacy.
For Trump. It is terrible for the military since he has zero experience running a huge and complicated agency. But he will do whatever Trump wants, and that is all you need.Pete is the perfect choice....
I didn't say people could do their own thing because that's not the purpose of the military. It's breaking you down and building you back up in their mold. You thought wrong. The military in a nutshell does two things:
1. They train you thoroughly in the job you will be doing.
2. They train and expect you to conform. You don't get to do 'Your own thing' in the military.
That's the Marine Corps, not the entirety of the military. The other two phrases are platitudes. The USAF and Navy are far more about a combination of conformity and academics than rote and obedience. That's because their roles are mostly technical not tactical. There's no need for every person in the Air Force or Navy to be a "rifleman" like the Marines do. Instead, they train people to be technicians and proficient at skilled jobs.I didn't say people could do their own thing because that's not the purpose of the military. It's breaking you down and building you back up in their mold.
"The Marine Corps. builds men"
"Be all that you can be"
"Navy. It's not just a job, it's an adventure."
I never called The Cackler "unqualified," only incompetent and a moron. So, by my standards Gaetz too is fully qualified to at least try for the office...https://bsky.app/profile/keithedwards.bsky.social

Notice how the same folks who called Kamala Harris “unqualified” are excited about a Fox News host and Matt Gaetz landing jobs they’re wildly unfit for
