False. Once they are counted and have gone through the process, they are legal. Period, end of story. What you want is not for all legal votes to be counted, but for YOU to decide which ones are legal and which ones aren't. The process is already in place to determine that. If a ballot survives that process, it is legal. I'd suggest not engaging in a logical exercise with me. I'm out of your league.

Were the votes allowed to be credited to Gore...no they were not. If they were found to be legal votes for Gore, they would have been counted.

They weren't declared illegal. The recount was. You might want to read Bush v. Gore before you make yourself look more foolish. I'll repeat, if a ballot goes through the entire process and is counted, it is a legal vote. By definition. So all legal votes will be counted, those that do not meet that standard will not be counted. You claim that's what you want, but you appear to object to the process of getting there. Tough luck.

All Ballot counting is always audited by both parties.

They were not allowed to be counted. If they had been legal votes (they were not) they would have been counted . They were not.

This is a false statement. They were found to be legal, then a higher court ruled differently.
You can shuck and jive and spin all you care to but these illegal votes in Fla. were not allowed to be counted because they were found to be not legal votes.
