It was revealed Sunday that a tip known to race-baiting "activist" Shaun King and Harris County, Texas, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez led to the arrest of two black suspects in the murder of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes.
Barnes’s killer was initially described as a white male, leading to widespread allegations that she was the victim of a hate crime. Gonzalez revealed Sunday that two black man had been arrested in the case.
New questions are being raised though, after it was discovered that King and Gonzalez were aware of the tip on Jan. 3.
Both pushed the theory of a white suspect even after receiving the tip.
Gonzalez and King continued pushing the story that a "white man" murdered Jazmine Barnes, even after both knew that the 7-year-old Houston girl’s killer was black.
Gonzalez admitted at a press conference Sunday that he received a tip in the middle of last week that Barnes’s killer was not the white male initially described by the gril's family and their friends.
King confessed Sunday on Instagram that he knew on Jan. 3 that a 20-year-old named Eric Black Jr. and 24-year-old Larry Woodruffe had shot Barnes. Both men are black.
