Who will be the Democratic Nominee?

Who will be the Republican Nominee?

What about vices?

Who will win?

I don't have a clue.

I think that it's NOT going to be Hillary and Rudy.

If I had to bet on a Dem nominee, I'd say Edwards.

I hope its Edwards on the Dem side, I suspect if it is it will be Edwards/Obama.

On the Republican side something like Romney/(you pick social conservative whacko)

This even with the fact that Rudy is still running higher than the social conservatives? I think that the Rs may surprise everybody this time, including themselves.

Fred Thompson hasn't even declared and he polls higher than Romney.

FT may get it!

Damo, you need to watch the video of Rudy the Draq Queen making out with Donald Trump. The relgious right will be discouraged into staying home, rather than working their hearts out for this guy in a general election.

The conventional wisdom now holds that social conservatives just want to win the white house, and they think that Rudy can, and the others can't. If that's so then he'll be the nominee, but I don't believe it. If he wins it he'll win it without the religious vote, and they'll stay home for the general. I don't think the R's can steal and supress enough votes to make up for that.

But I still don't think he's going to be the nominee. Wait until S Carolina when McCain who has all of the dirty dogs from the old bush campaigns working for him, starts running those clips of Rudy in drag, of which there are several on different occassions. And God knows what their push polls will be. "If you knew that Rudy Gulliani was a pre-operative transexual on female hormones would you be more or less likely to vote for him?"

He's not going to make it.

Right an SNL moment. I'm sure it will make all the difference. This is subpar for even you.

You underestimate the power of imagery. You don't think GOP TV commercials showing Kerry windsurfing, cost him votes and credibility with "heartland" voters?

Think again, Damo.

No no, there is more than one tape, this guy dressed in drag publically on more than one occassion. The SNL was just one time.

Not that I really think it matters. That's going to kill him in the conservative state's primaries.

Were it on SNL it would have been easy to answer.

Seriously, SNL appearances notwithstanding, I don't think Rudy is going to get it, but I don't think it is going to be Religious Right either. My point wasn't that Rudy was going to get it, it was that your stress on the religious right seems to be inaccurate. Even with all this out there Rudy is still polling higher than any of the RR folk.

Yet you don't think he's going to get it, therefore you think that some portion of his support is going to crater. Me too, and I think it's going to crater among the religious right. Where do you think it's going to occur?

Well, the only wild card that I can see helping Rudy, is the primary calender. State's are really mucking it up this year. I understand California, New York, and Florida ware moving their primaries way up, to fall right behind New Hampshire.

As such, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Iowa may not be as important as in previous years. Rudy could do quite well with California and New York republicans.

Here are three different times that Rudy appeared in drag in public. The first one was when he danced in the chorus line, the second one was when he called himself "rudelia" and the third one is the infamous Donald Trump one. Stop trying to pass this off as a one time joke on SNL. That's just not factual:

Now you're going to try and tell me that this is normal behavior? It is...for a heterosexual cross-dresser which is what I believe he is.

And you're going to tell me that these three incidents are going to be passed off as a "SNL joke" in the S. Carolina Republican primaries? Uh huh. Sure. And they're going to vote for me as a close second to lead their ticket.
