I do not even want to think how much it costs to force 2.2 million people to move, and to pay for other countries to take them... Also, we would have to deal with them as our enemies for generations, and that has a cost. I guess there are different kinds of costs too. Costs in money, blood, etc.

Egypt has a 1,892 mile coastline. Gaza has a 24 mile coastline. If 24 miles of coast is a "goldmine" then Egypt has 79 goldmines.

Their occupation of Gaza was extremely violent on both sides. It was so bad they were overjoyed to lose the territory. If the inhabitance of Gaza are moved to Egypt, then Egypt has all the violence of occupying Gaza without actually getting the territory. It is literally the worst possible deal.

I doubt there is any amount of money that would get them to agree, but if you offer them a trillion dollars, it might happen. How much are you really willing to pay for trump's silly joke?

Well, sure. Most of them know what Trump is going to do to this country - and he's already doing it.

Just the economy alone - the market was flying high for most of the past 4 years, and it's down 700 in the past week. Trump's vindictive firings are making us less safe. He's a disaster so far.

Of course people would be bummed about that.
