Yea, that's what I DO as a businessman. A nickel or some pennies here or there are chump change and not worth my time to deal with. In fact, I generally round materials on my jobs to the nearest dollar on the whole bill. So, I gain or lose say $10 to $20 on a say, $2000 job that takes a day to complete. That's nothing. It's a joke. It all comes out even in the wash.

You don't have the option there, Terry. You're just making it easier on yourself and avoiding pissing off your restaurant customers by having a .02 charge and rounding it up for them to .05.

Without pennies, most will round up and the customers will pay the price across the board; food, gas, services, etc.

I find it cute how you always line up with the Orange Jesus.

At a restaurant, at least in the US, because of tipping culture, I can set the bill however I want from 0 to 20%+ of what's presented. Pennies don't fucking matter.

No, the rounding up or down makes no difference to what I end up paying. The tip, for me, is part of the overall bill. What I end up paying TOTAL is what matters.

When a digital gas pump rolls over from $10 to the next price, you're free to believe the owners will round down until it hits $10.03, Terry.

I believe they'll simply set it to go to $10.05.
