Here is my take on Obama care. America's health care system is broken and unsustainable. With jobs being exported overseas(Asia), more and more people lack health insurance(and a good paying job). Who pays? The Government.
Also who pays for all these people that insurance companies deny, because of existing illnesses? Again? The Government. Therefore this is the government's idea to shift the money away from the national deficit, and onto the private sector.
Over all I agree with Obamacare but don't agree about it being left to private sector insurance companies(middle men), who have no accountability to the people they insure.
What was the government shut down about? Well they couldn't pay their bills. They stalled for a few weeks(in the process saving millions of dollars from unpaid government employees), pay the deficit, get a debt ceiling increase and then use the increase to pay the government employees. How long can they get away with such tactics? Apparently the politicians said about a year. And then what? Another government shut down?lol Or do what America always does in a recession. Go to war(note sarcasm).

President "The Buck Stops Nowhere" Obama's employees simply take his example and never take responsibility for their errors. Nobody under his authority ever is held responsible or has to face the reality of the effect of their own decisions on others.
Maybe President Shamwow should make another speech today begging us to like his craptacular law forcing us into craptacularly huge "deductibles" (that will still bankrupt the poor among us) and pricing shock madness, maybe he should tell us how we should "be patient" again. He can tell us all how, "If you like your plan, you can keep your plan. Period." and "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. Period. People lack health insurance because of choices they have made in their lives. You can either choose to pay the monthly premiums, or by that 60” big screen TV. You can choose to pay monthly premiums, or buy cigarettes. You can choose to pay monthly premiums, or you can choose to buy booze or go out and party.
Life is filled with choices, so far, and the ones you make are part of the personal responsibility or lack thereof within you.
