Psychiatrist drops bombshell testimony about Jordan Neely - after prosecutors tried to silence him from Daniel Penny's chokehold trial

A forensic psychiatrist testified that Jordan Neely had been hospitalized for psychotic episodes over a dozen times and was heavily abusing drugs before his death on a Manhattan train.

Dr. Alexander Bardey took the stand in the trial of Daniel Penny, 26, a marine veteran who put Neely in a fatal chokehold when the homeless man threatened passengers on a subway in May 2023.

Witnesses said Neely screamed at passengers that someone was 'going to die' on the train, and Penny said he stepped in when Neely approached a woman with a child in a stroller. ...

Will the jury convict Penny of murder or give him a medal?

For a self-designated doctor, you are stone-cold dismissive about people with mental health issues. There are ways to subdue people without killing them and we all know it. I can see why people like you wouldn't want a doctor's expert testimony in this case

I'm sorry Nealy died but he put the wheels of his own death in motion when he took K2. Penny was a hero that took risks to himself to defend a mother and a baby. He prevented a dangerous man from harming them. Penny deserves a medal. Alvin Bragg is a moron.

Alvin Bragg is just another left wing sociopath, and apparently has lined his pockets really really well while in office. These vermin can't do it without the help and support of Democrat judges, though, and hopefully the Trump Admin does a full court press on removing as many of these slimy pieces of shit from benches and DA offices all across the country.

You would have had this man trapped on a train executed ...

Gorkha Soldier Saves Girl from Rape and Takes on 40 Train Robbers with Only a Khukuri

The soldier had somehow remained a silent spectator amidst the melee, but not for long. He had had enough when the robbers stripped an 18-year-old girl sitting next to him and tried to rape her right in front of her parents. He then took out his khukuri and took on the robbers.

“The girl cried for help, saying ´You are a soldier, please save a sister´,” Shrestha recalled. “I prevented her from being raped, thinking of her as my own sister,” he added. He took one of the robbers under control and then started to attack the others. He said the rest of the robbers fled after he killed three of them with his khukuri and injured eight others…“Fighting the enemy in battle is my duty as a soldier; taking on the dacoits in the train was my duty as a human being,” said the Indian army nayak."

Give me a break with your fake comparisons. We're talking about the USA, not another country halfway around the world. And an article from 2011 no less.

This former soldier killed 3 of the robbers. If it happened in the U.S., you would call for his head. Like with Penny, you do not care that he was trying to protect a woman.

Fascinating nd si disturbing ... Are there seriously those here who think that Daniel Penny is guilty?

Yes, Dorothy, we aren't in Kansas anymore. Some would rather see the mother and child assaulted or harmed. Just as many would rather see an American college student murdered than have an illegal alien deported. They were the ones who rooted for the terrorists during 9/11 cuz they hated Booooooooossssh. They are mentally ill and a pox on our nation.

Penny was a Good Samaritan. Give the man a medal.

It's unreal...there are actually people here believing and wishing for him to be found guilty...
I've yet to see anyone say how they would have handled it differently, especially if their family members would have been in that car with an obviously drug deranged and mentally ill man threatening to kill everyone...
He does deserve a medal...(and apologies and compensation for what he's been through....)but they'd rather see one go to Planned Parenthood...
It's a blessing not to be them...

In order to subdue people without killing them, those techniques require some sort of training, correct? Or is that something that should be innate and instinctual?

Well you certainly are dismissive as to potential harm to a person that tries to intervene with someone that threatens the life of a mother and her infant and others. Penny put himself at risk to try to prevent harm to a defenseless mother and her baby. And that is what you got out of my post #5? Seriously? You sure have a problem. Nearly may be mentally ill but he also decided to use K2. Lots of mentally ill people do not abuse drugs. Actually I think the doctor's testimony was a good thing. It helped show jurors why Nealy was an extremely dangerous person and extreme actions were needed to prevent him from injuring or killing others. Tell me if you were in a dark subway car with a crazy man threatening your life would you want Daniel Penny to step up and protect you from harm or would you rather go it on your own?
