Yeah Floyd held a gun to a pregnant woman's abdomen and robbed her. Neely threatened a mother and her baby. Both of them were dangerous men.

Jesus Christ you fucking moron, if anybody has been brought in 12 times for mental issues and is set loose on the street again, the persons who released him/her should be required to be handcuffed to that individual for a few weeks to make sure he /she will not threaten anyone ever again.
I have been down this road with you a half dozen times and you are so far off base I will not continue this but, just maybe, consider the fact you might be in grave danger and someone near you can save you, hope that individual does not have the same flawed philosophy as yourself.

I can 110% assure you that Marine training does not deal with the subject of subduing anyone at all. They either comply or die at gun point. If it comes down to hand to hand, it's death or nothing.

interrogation video shows that penny only intended to subdue him and didn't know he was dead at that point.
They other hypocritical part that might end up the result of this tragedy is that a jury will most likely convict penny, whereas they would end up acquitting a defendant if that defendant was a cop who had been highly trained...........it speaks volumes about the idiotic ignorance of most of our population

But held too long, the technique can restrict the flow of blood to a person's brain, ending their life in a matter of minutes.

“Recruits learn specific techniques to use in a last-chance situation if they don’t have a weapon,” said Sgt. Brandon Karnes, drill instructor, Platoon 1051, Co. C, 1st RTBn. “These choking techniques, if applied properly, are a fast and safe way to knock out the enemy.”
The two types of chokes that recruits learn are the rear choke and figure-four variation. Both techniques are blood chokes. By applying pressure to the carotid artery, the major artery of the head and neck, blood flow is restricted to the brain causing the enemy to pass out."

Easy for you to say you can subdue people with out killing them. Have you ever done so personally? Of course not because you will run and call the police while the a woman and baby are assaulted and possibly hurt. And they will get there eventually to make a report on what happened.

It's a tragedy this had to happen but the system abuses law abiding citizens. Neely should have been locked away for public safety reasons but the system isn't interested in public safety.
