Russia amassed huge numbers of troops at the Ukraine border. Claiming they had no intention of invading. It was easy to see how one would believe that Russia would quickly overrun the Ukraine military.

Nobody knew how incompetent the Russian military really was. Especially given that like trump, Putin exists only by bluster and exaggeration.

Ukraine at the time had been built over ten years into the second strongest Army in Europe after Turkey....

The Russians have kicked our asses, but they had to massively expand their army and massively jump production of military gear to do it.
 
There are now three military superpowers....Russia, China and America....and Russia/China are blood brothers....

I thought Putin would eventually wear down the Ukrainian armed forces, I really didn't imagine that after three years and 800k casualties the Russians would have only captured about 20 percent of Ukraine.

Another example of why Trump loves the poorly educated.

I don't see how any genuine consumer of news doesn't occasionally run across BBC, Daily Express, Guardian, et al. and get a sense of some of the ways British English spells things slightly differently than American English. Even Canada generally uses British English for spelling conventions.
