I haven't been this excited about a candidate in a long while. I've already volunteered and I may be running his campaign in my county.

They weren't huge. They were actually kind of small. But the main point is that they weren't RAISED, so to go around saying "taxed enough already" and creating the impression that taxes are being increased all over the place is, basically, a big lie.

And there wasn't a teleprompter in site. He spoke for at least an hour, answered questions. Yeah, he has my vote in the Primary and the Election.

Even better he served at the same time in the Navy at the NSA as I did. He was an R brancher I was an "I" brancher in Naval intel...

so according to you we are "not" taxed enough already?
how much do you think the government should steal from us and when is enough?
and as I said we all know this administration is going to let the Bush tax cuts expire, so his tax cuts will be meaningless wont they?..

I have stated often that the top tax rate should be 33%. I don't think any American should have to pay more than a third of their income in taxes.

But, that's been my feeling for many years. Where were the TEA folks during the Bush years, when their taxes were actually higher than they are now?

I flew into Denver 10 days ago, first time in over 20 years...it was a totally different airport I got all screwed up trying to find the right Super Shuttle %#@&^%! Anyway, I helped a friend drive out to CA from Ft Collins...I am going to send her these video clips. She has moved into the heart of liberalville USA.

Have fun campaigning for your guy. It's always nice to have a candidate you can believe in and get excited about!

That's a totally lame poke! The so called tax cuts have only benefitted those who don't pay any taxes...they are actually tax credits not cuts. Bush CUT taxes for actual families and workers who were/are paying them. Next year what will the democrat spin be when the democrats allow those actual cuts to expire???

I won't stand by it. The admin has stated, time & again, that no one under $200K (most working people) will see any kind of tax increase while he's in office, either actively or passively (allowing the Bush cuts for that income group to lapse).

If Obama breaks that promise, I might even go to a TEA party myself, because then it will actually mean something.

It already means something to those who are proactively trying to put the skids on the spending that will translate itself into huge tax increases to pay for it.
