They can still get a job. I don't think most Americans want to to fully support able-bodied people who choose not to work.

Yeah, which is how it should be. Like I said, no Democrat wants to just make everything free. What they want is to have a more level playing field, especially for people who were born with massive disadvantages.

Most people understand that many people do not want to go on welfare and most of those are only short-term recipients. They are mainly intolerant of those who make it a career. And, they believe because there are more unfilled jobs than there are unemployed workers there is no excuse for not taking a job.
