Question for conservatives: Why has there never been a female US President?

The idea of a male president has been culturally feasible since the office was created in 1787. The idea of a female president has been culturally feasible since about 1975. Thus far, there have been two women candidates for VP, and only one woman candidate for president. There has also really only been a conscious push for nominating a woman since Crooked Hillary first sought the DNC nomination in 2008.

Give it some time, and it will eventually happen.

Why was the idea of a female president not feasible before 1975?
