Question for fans of multiracialism

StoneByStone

It's OK to Be White
I've asked this question a few times during discussions on this board and I never got an answer. Now I'm curious to see if anyone can answer it, so here goes.

Why does racial integration only happen when it's forced on people? I think most people prefer living around and associating with people of their own race. And that's the reason the government needs to force integration through affirmative action and anti-discrimination laws. If I'm wrong, and people don't have racial preferences, then what is the reason that multiracialism never just happens on its own? Why does it only happen through government force?

When I asked a friend (black) why he bought a new house where he did his answer was simple, "its more comfortable". He had no issues with white people, everyone likes Richard, but i believed him.

But that's just one guy. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule.

I said as much. Point is this black family who could afford homes in white neighborhoods and better schools for their grade school aged children chose a black neighborhood. There were prolly whites sprinkled there as there are blacks in white neighborhoods but there ARE black and white neighborhoods. Thats the rule, that's the why.

IMO many people are afraid of others who don't look or act like them, so I approach this from another angle. What makes people fearful about "different"? You mentioned anti-discrimination laws and AA. These came into effect because of the bad treatment other races got due to fear. What was it about having dark skin, for example, that made people so afraid they resorted to violence and discrimination in their interactions with "different"? Truly, it makes no sense and I believe that fear and hatred are taught, and not innate.

You said multiculturalism never happens on its own, only through government force. I guess you're speaking of the US only. I don't know that other countries have the same problems which they try to cure with government force.

Why do you lefties always assume that someone believing differently than you does so out of fear.

Before I was red-pilled on race, I noticed the same thing in my high school cafeteria. And there wasn't any racism there, no fights over racial issues or anything like that. We all just preferred to self-segregate.

Hot, exotic girls of different races are always a draw.

While that's an interesting question and a discussion worth having, it's outside the scope of this thread. I want to keep the discussion here about whether or not people regularly self-segregate, not why they do if they do.

Every country that is currently trying multiracialism is having the same problems.

it does happen on its own.

the problem now is doing it too quickly, too many people too fast, with the government villainizing indigenous populations, while telling the newcomers they don't have to assimilate at all.

I think your premise about it "being forced on people" is wrong, so there isn't much else to say about the rest of the statement. Yes, in some areas landlords and real estate agents had to be "encouraged" to rent or sell to non-whites. Why is that? Because the whites in the area believed that if they had non-white neighbors their property values would suffer. It used to be just fine to refuse to hire a person of color in favor of an equally-qualified white person, because of the racist and mistaken belief that non-whites are lazy, poorly-educated, and not intelligent.

So far as I know, we have yet to see (for example) black ppl fleeing their neighborhood because some whites moved in down the street. Haven't seen Hispanics or Asians do that either, have you? We lived in a pretty diverse area when we lived in STL. Never heard anyone complain about our Asian, gay, black, Indian (from that country, not natives), Muslim, Ukrainian, Bosnian, etc. neighbors. Probably because we were all united in our hatred for the baseball field across the street where the teams would play uber loud music over the loudspeakers during practice. lol

At any rate, your premise is wrong. Many companies esp. those with public faces *want* to hire non-white, non-male employees to show that they celebrity diversity and aren't bigots.

There you go again thinking how it is where you are is the way it is in most places.

Not at all, from what I have seen in the rest of America, I know I live in unique part of the country, and we're glad of it, but I've around enough to know everything isn't segregated as the post implies
