question for thoes who hate bush

"Iraq is a long way from Ohio, but what happens there matters a great deal here. For the risks that the leaders of a rogue state will use nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against us or our allies is the greatest security threat we face."

Madeleine Albright, President Clinton's Secretary of State

Town Hall Meeting on Iraq at Ohio State University
February 18, 1998

this one was in '98

Doesn't really matter bob, it doesn't say what you are claiming. It makes no claims about Iraq directly. It only says that we should keep our eye on Iraq. That's it. She then tells why we should but she doesn't say that Hussein presents the "risks" that she identifies here as the "greatest threat" so you need another quote.

We have already declared Victory here, bob.

You should be having a drink with us, rather than continuing to go through a meaningless rehash of an argument that has already been debunked.

Or find another quote that actually says what you claim it says.

As for transmitting the information and plans to the incoming Bush administration, the 9/11 Commission Report gives this account:

"In December, Bush met with Clinton for a two-hour, one-on-one discussion of national security and foreign policy challenges. Clinton recalled saying to Bush, “I think you will find that by far your biggest threat is Bin Laden and the al Qaeda.”...Bush recalled that Clinton had emphasized other issues such as North Korea and the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.

Iraq didn't even break into the top five biggest threats.

So, according to testimony of both Bush and Clinton, Clinton told Bush in December 2000 that the top three threats to the United States were:

1) Bin Laden and Al Qaeda
2) North Korea
3) Palestinain-Israeli crisis.

No mention of iraq, according to the 9/11 Commission

spin spin spin

The 9/11 Commission Report, and the sworn Testimoney of both George Bush and Bill Clinton is "spin, spin, spin"?
