Question for you Anti-Assault rifle people

Is that why you own one- Because you are a low IQ scary person and just want a scary weapon to terrorize people?

Or because you are such a Low IQ person, you actually think you are in some kind of military?
Both low IQ questions.

How about the Wal-Mart and Dayton murders?
Gun nuts have ever accuse to keep their weapons of war
Of course, both of those attacks occurred in gun free zones, which, according to control freak dogma, should have made them immune to such events. Instead, and as usual, it just made them attractive targets.

But somehow, these mass murders like the semi automatic weapons!
That's probably because they're as ignorant as you are. But the way the control freaks freak out about "assault weapons" convinces them that that's the thing to use. However, the Capital Gazette shooter used a shotgun.

You probably believe that.
Fact is,a crazy who wants to mass murder.Sees the the fastest most efficient way to do it is a semi automatic rifle.
Because that's what you control freaks keep freaking out about.

You cannot possibly be asking me to take the definition of assault rifle from an anonymous and totally obscure message board poster, over the definition given by Webster's Dictionary.
No, I'm expecting you to accept their definition, but realize that the "also" definition is a twisting of the actual definition for political effect.

No, it is not. It is a hope that we can take military assault weapons which were designed to kill lots of people as fast as possible off the streets.
You can defend your family from the mythical marauders with a gun. Any weapon in your home makes your home less safe and adds danger to them all. But if you envision playing cops and robbers in your life, have at it. But you do not need a device that spreads bullets like a hose.
The truth is those guns were designed to compensate for the poor shooting abilities of Air Force people. I worked on a program that developed them. The M16 was eventually modified and adopted by the army. The military brass used to joke about airforce soldiers terrible shooting ability. Spraying bullets was the idea.

First of all, they are not "military assault weapons". No military in the world issues such weapons. And they do not "spread bullets like a hose". That would be an automatic weapon. That's what you use to "spray bullets".

Shooters really don't look for gun-free zones. Kids shoot up schools because that is what they are familiar with and have anger with people there. Kid last week got killed by a bunch of cops in less than a minute. The Texas shooter went to a Teas mall. People in Texas love their guns. They all fled.

The El Paso shooter's manifesto emphasized looking for a soft target. That mall was a gun free zone.

Um, many of us know more than the gun nuts on the issue. We talk about reinstating limitations and suddenly we're banning guns. They don't have reasoned discourse they have trigger reactions. All the knowledge in the world won't do you any good without reasoning. Without reasoning, you forsake knowledge for base impulsive reactions. Anymore it's just a bunch of unoriginal parroting. Any knowledge they have seems to be taking a backseat.

It's hilarious that a large pistol that can down a person with a good shot isn't considered sufficient for protection. Anyting bigger doesn't seem practical for a quick response.

LOL!! YOU know more about guns than those of us who own, reload for and shoot them?
Reasoning? How many guns are out there? What percentage are used illegally? DUH!

The number of guns in America makes it more likely that a mass shooting and a family tragedy will happen. The stats show gun deaths are a common occurrence in America. Makes you feel proud doesn't it? Nations that have sensible restrictions on weapons are a lot safer. If guns made us safer we would be the safest nation in the world. We are not.

It makes me proud I'm not one of those statistics, there are millions and millions more like me.

I did not think you were the only idiot in the country who is resigned to American shooting deaths. Some of us are against shooting other people.
