A police commissioner is often an appointed position, whereas a sheriff is usually an elected official.

It is inappropriate for the sheriff to comment on an ongoing investigation, but making comments about the political climate and rhetoric is not going to change the investigation.

So Now Bravo is running around on the boards to tell everyone he has me on IA and then throw out an insult......seems I humiliated Bravo to his breaking point, as most people just IA someone and that's that. Bravo's sour grapes are just pathetic.
