It'll only pan out if the Trump Admin doesn't foresee (and successfully foil) what leftists are going to attempt to do via the Longshoremen with regard to the upcoming "empty shelves" narrative.

Let's just say that the Trump Admin would be VERY wise to start proactively diverting shipments of important supplies away from the West Coast.

If there is no "empty shelves" "crisis", then the leftists (via the Longshoremen) will try to CREATE it.
 
My prediction : In the run up to the 2028 GE, if Trump sees no path to stay in office (him or a proxy), his J6 Militia (Proud Boys, et al) will deliberately engage in mass attacks and violence against any groups actively protesting Trump. This will be done to provoke escalations which Trump will then declare is an Insurrection, by those on the left, so he can declare Martial Law and suspend the election, while staying in power indefinitely.

That's what he wanted to do on 1/6 and failed. Partly because the US military refused to cooperate. Trump will be better prepared after purging any generals who don't swear fealty to him.

i do not think that the plan for Jan6th went that far, or that they thought they needed it to.

The plan for J6th seemed to come straight from Roger Stone and following the Brooks Brothers riot which was largely responsible for 'stopping the count' in Florida... forcing a crisis where 'certification was put in to question', and ultimately the SC had to decide how to proceed, and they chose a path to favor the Republican, GWBjr.

For J6th, i think the extent of the plan was to have Mike Pence refuse to certify the count, and failing that have the rioters cause chaos (same as Brooks Brothers riot) such that Congress would miss the Certification date deadline and then to ask the Supreme Court to use the singular method laid out in the Constitution which is the Contingent Election. If the SC said ' it is not our job to manage Congress and how they can or cannot certify the election but the Constitution is clear that if Congress cannot do that, then it must call a Contigent Election and we will follow the Constitution'.

And in that case Trump would have been returned to power. Mike Pence really did stop that by following the Constitution.

In the run up to the 2020 GE, if Obama sees no path to regain office (him or a proxy), his embedded IC Militia (FBI, et al) will deliberately engage in provoking a portion of a large crowd of election fraud protestors to enter into the Capitol building. This will be done to create the necessary optics for an "emergency" situation in which Democrats will then declare is an Insurrection, by those on the "far-right", so they can "certify" Biden as the President before any State Legislatures get a chance to review and remedy the election fraud.

HMMMMM...... IT'S ALMOST AS IF WHAT YOU CLAIM IS "GOING TO HAPPEN" HAS ALREADY RECENTLY HAPPENED, BUT "IN REVERSE"....................

Then, as was seen, the plan was to label Trump as an "insurrectionist", bar him from running for office in future elections, and even jail him, very similar to what all of the leftist so-called "Champions of Democracy" have already been doing to their political opponents for some time (sometimes successfully, sometimes not) in Ukraine, Hungary, Romania, France, Germany, Brazil, Pakistan, Italy, and numerous other countries across the world.

Again, if you understood what Roger Stone achieved with the Brooks Brother Riots, and how simply the disruption of the count, and the threat of the missed Certification deadline, caused the SC to take control and direct it in a way that assured the Republican (GWBJr) win, you can see they did not need martial law and to cancel indefinitely.

All they needed was the Certification to miss the deadline (via Pence refusing or riot delaying it) and then the SC to say 'there is only Constitutional remedy when COngress does not certify results and that is a Contingent election'.

Voila, Trump then wins without having to go the far more odious step of declaring martial law and cancelling indefinitely which may then have seen the SC rule against him and him having to go full despot to stay in.

And i am not saying Trump would not do that last step if needed, what i am saying is it did not appear to be the plan last time as the last part was not needed.
 
And BTW the conservative controlled SC absolutely managed that case such that Bush would win regardless of their decision.

The issue they were called on to decide was whether or not the 'hanging chad' votes should be recounted or not, as the certification time line was fast approaching.

The SC made the choice to 'suspend the count' while they decided and even though they came to the conclusion 'the ballots should be recounted', they then ruled 'but their is insufficient time so the election will certified as it is not', meaning a win for Bush.

Had the SC made the more logical choice of 'allowing the count to continue while they decided', and then if they rule for or against the ballots would either count or be discarded (and not disclosed), they would have preserved an option that would allow for an outcome for Gore to win.

No doubt Stone gave Trump ideas. Regardless, it failed. Trump won't make that mistake again.
 
It is also why Pence refused to get in car, as the Secret Service was pushing him to when they first escaped the Capital and got down to the car park.

The SC was saying they needed to move Pence to a secure secondary location and a Pence aid told him, once he gets in that car Trump will take control of the SC and give them the orders when it is safe for him to return or not, and Trump would ensure it was after the certification deadline.

Pence refused to get in the car and maintained the only control he could as president of the Senate and ensure the count could be completed before the deadline.
