He is not a dentist, try again. he did not ignore fauci on the variants he correctly posited that there have been 0 reported deaths or hospitalizations from any of the variants. You do not need to lecture me on serotypes, you like Dr. Fauci which paul points out are using conjecture for policy, not science. fact is we do not have proof any of the mutations are jumping the vaccine and no one, again, no one has been hospitalized due to any of the mutations and none of the mutations have shown in clinical studies to be severely resistant to the vaccine.
Really? I guess the morgue isn't the hospital so maybe you are correct, but I doubt it.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/expert-answers/covid-variant/faq-20505779A variant identified in the U.K. This COVID-19 variant (B.1.1.7) has 23 mutations. Several of these mutations are in the spikelike S protein that the virus uses to attach itself to the surface of human cells. This variant might be associated with an increased risk of death compared to other variants, but further research is needed.
https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-per...rate-64-higher-b117-covid-variant-study-findsThe 28-day risk of death for the B117 COVID-19 variant was 64% higher than for previously circulating strains in people older than 30 years, a UK study finds.
https://www.lshtm.ac.uk/newsevents/...r-mortality-compared-other-strains-sars-cov-2For example, out of 1,000 people in their 60s who test positive for the old variant, six of them might be expected to die from COVID-19 in the four weeks following the test. But this rises to about nine with the B.1.1.7 variant.
