This is in the UK, and you forgot to highlight "might" and "further research needed. Rand was correctly talking about the US. Do you have any data on the US and this variant?

He's a medical doctor, not a dentist, you were wrong about that. and the fear of variants being resistant to the vaccine has not been medically proven yet, all virus's mutate, right now, some variants show minimal resistance to any of the vaccines. and Dr. Paul, MD, is correct when he points out fauci is suggesting mitigation by conjecture not science.


Many of us in the medical community know this, it's simply just not the PC viewpoint that follows the agenda.

No, actually you refuted nothing just as Paul did not, just because it has not been shown yet does not mean that another strain cannot infect a vaccinated person, in fact history has proven time and time again that it can and does happen. He is ignoring the fact that the new strains are just getting a foothold so yes the data is not there yet so one bases their actions on the most probable scenario and what the history of viruses and how they mutate and re-infect people. If you are in the medical profession you should already know that or you are simply ignoring that fact, I would suggest it is the later.

I suppose it partially depends on which side you want to believe.

But here is a question, why do you want to believe we can defeat this with zero effort? It is such a minor effort, for such a huge reward, and you refuse to even consider it.

Lets take a look at Paul. Paul was the first member of the Senate to get Covid-19. He promised his doctor that he would quarantine himself for two weeks, but said he felt good, so went out and infected a dozen other people. In his defense, he argued that the school kids he gave the tour to were unlikely to die... but their teacher nearly did die.

This is the type of person Paul is. He thinks quarantining is only for treating symptoms. If it would not be comfortable to him to work, he will not work. If he is contagious, and could kill people, he sees no reason to take time away from work.

so the "new strain" that was mentioned here the b117 or the uk strain is not resistant to the current vaccine. yet is paul's point, thats not science that conjecture.

yes, if you have had the virus and show antibodies over a certain titer level, you are as good or better than had you never had it and had the vaccine as any 1st year medical student learns.

Has nothing to do with what they think it has to do with Paul and his actual credentials, and I am positive you did not read it, I could post more but I am sure you would not read those either.

Looks like you simply will not believe anything anyone explains to you, your mind is closed to anything that does not support Paul, your choice and does not change the fact that Paul is playing politics and Dr. Fauci has science on his side.
