Naturally you think you defended it fine. You fell into Paul's "theater and feelings" argument, i.e. it doesn't look manly for a male to wear a mask, it detracts from the macho image his insecurities require. Never mind that it might save your life. Yeah, the macho thing is to brave it out and be an asshole, like Paul was when he went swimming in the Senate pool after being tested positive for Covid.

Paul pressed Fauci on that and Fauci couldn’t give a good answer. The political/policy point is there is no further justification for mask mandates once a sufficient number of people are vaccinated.

Paul also brought up an excellent point that it’s well passed the time people should be given an incentive to get vaccinated instead the ‘well, we might being masking into 2023’ bit.

Well, idiot, antibodies don't last forever, and the vaccines aren't 100% effective.

So that's why we need masks, even with vaccinated people, because -AS FAUCI SAID- variants of COVID are more contagious and more transmissible than what the vaccines may protect against.

if you hadn't lied your fucking ass off about the virus from Jan-Mar last year, we could have gotten a handle on it earlier which would have prevented the risk of variants and mutations.

You can carry the disease, even if you may be safe from getting it yourself. Masks have always been about others. That is why rightys fight masks. Who cares about others?
