Red states.

Lefties like jbander don't want to get rid of it. If they did, they could no longer buy votes from the two groups that overwhelmingly use social welfare and vote heavily Democratic.

What's worse, Democrats buying those votes are the recipients believing Democrats actually care about anything other than getting those votes?

I have noticed the left has a completely different attitude toward people on welfare who they think vote Democratic and those they think vote Republican.

People on welfare vote in very low numbers

They have a completely different attitude toward those that use terms like "lynching" and led filibusters against civil rights legislation.

I didn't apply a formula. I showed the results of having high black population in your State. Your claim of Red states not knowing how to function is like being shocked a wheelchair basketball team lost to an NBA team.

I took a Blue State, NY. Same pattern. The blacker, and in some cases the browner, the greater use of food stamps. NY 8 represented by Hakeem Jeffries (D) has a 24% use of food stamps and a 70% black and brown. NY 7 represented by Nydia Velazquez (D) has a 26% use of food stamps and is 60% black and brown. NY 9 represented by Yvette Clarke (D) has a 22% of food stamps and is 61% black and brown.

Contrast that to NY 1 represented by Lee Zeldin (R) with it's 6% use of food stamps and only a 16% black and brown population.

Funny how that works, isn't it?? Let's even take a closer look at a rather purple State, such as my State of Wisconsin, which is overall a very heavily white populated State, except for the Milwaukee area, which entails pretty much all of District 4. Wisconsin has eight congressional districts, 5 red and 3 blue.

District 1: RED... 11% on food stamps... mostly white
District 2: BLUE... 8% on food stamps... mostly white
District 3: BLUE... 10% on food stamps... mostly white
District 4: BLUE... 22% on food stamps... black/brown majority, and it's mostly blacks who are on food stamps.
District 5: RED... 6% on food stamps... mostly white
District 6: RED... 10% on food stamps... mostly white
District 7: RED... 11% on food stamps... mostly white
District 8: RED... 8% on food stamps... mostly white

Hmmmmmm, so it looks like it's the blacks in Milwaukee in District 4 who are sucking up most of the food stamps in Wisconsin...

You'll find that same pattern whether the State is Red or Blue. Micawber pretended the pattern didn't exist and wasn't relevant to Blue States. There are a few exceptions as with anything.

Well, he's a moron who can't look deeper into the data for himself...

Let's take a look at some notable Districts:

Already addressed Mississippi 2, Alabama, 7, Tennessee 9, and SC 6. Let's look at some other areas:

Michigan 13 - Represented by Rashida Tlaib (D). 31% use of food stamps. A majority minority district with 64% black and Hispanic.

Florida 20 - Represented by Alcee Hastings (D). 22% use of food stamps. A majority minority district with 77% black and Hispanic. On a side note, Alcee has been elected and re-elected despite having been impeached while a federal judge for bribery and perjury.

Maryland 7 - Formerly represented by Elijah Cummings (D). 19% use of food stamps. A majority minority district with 61% black and Hispanic. On a side note, the overall crime rate for this area is 153% higher than the national average. Per 100K people, 19 crimes per day occur giving you a 1 in 15 chance of being a victim of any type crime.

NY 8 and NY 9 have also been addressed and show the same pattern yet are in Blue States.

Most lefties don't want to admit the pattern exists. Those that do usually find someone or something else to blame besides those leeching off the taxpayers.

Well, he's a moron who can't look deeper into the data for himself...

evince asked for links to the data and was provided a link to the food stamp number and a way to look up each of the States that were referenced. She ran from doing so.

Funny how she wanted the link until she didn't want it... She's another moron...

Post #20 - questioned that no links to the numbers were provided

Link provided

Post #28 - told me to do my own homework.

Wouldn't being able to provide the numbers and the links mean I did?

I would think so... I would especially think that your ability to provide all of that detailed information without cut/pasting would mean that you did your homework...

It's not something where you can click on a link and have right in front of you.

And in the end, the theme of the intial topic post still stands as valid, a number of Blue States are keeping a much greater number of Red States afloat, Red State Socialism

Pennsylvania voted Democratic six Presidential elections in a row until 2016. Is it a Red state now?

Michigan voted Democratic six Presidential elections in a row until 2016. Is it a Red state now?

Wisconsin voted Democratic seven Presidential elections in a row until 2016. Is it a Red state now?

It's been a long time since Ohio hasn't voted for the Presidential winner. I think we call it Purple.

1992 was the last time Florida did not vote for the eventual winner. I think we call it Purple as well.

So what stats are you using with this new info to determine which color states financially support whom?

It's the heavily black districts within those States, dumbass...

archives doesn't like what the deeper data tells him, so he's keeping it at vaguely defined surface level bullshit which doesn't tell the whole story...
