My grapevine has been all a chatter about how the main countries of China Bloc have assemblies of the experts on the question "what do we need, and how can we get it fast and cheap?"...in America the only mission is shoveling as much money as possible to the contractors who provide massive kickbacks to Washington. Also that the myth of American weapons superiority is all the way gone...the final straw was Ukraine, where most of it showed up not fit for purpose....too complicated, too heavy, too expensive, too fragile......who the fuck thought this was a good idea....

At what point in recorded human history have there no been wars?
Waging war is a genetic, biological trait of human beings,
and any attempts at denying it are rendered nonsense by the human experience itself.
People love to believe that they have choices.
They think that they're somehow above their genetic dispositions,
this despite having absolutely no explanation for how that would work.
The human being is a pound for pound physical weakling in the animal kingdom,
but we can live a long time under the right circumstances,
and we have the mental capacity to know how to cap each other's asses.
Beyond that, however, we have an obviously strong inclination to do so.
This is both absolutely true and not my fault.
If there really is a magic creator in the sky,
which I personally doubt strongly,
this is obviously what he/she/ it had in mind,
so just keep worshiping him/her/it in appreciation.
