The Democrats condemned the riots, they only encouraged peaceful protests. Unlike Trump, who encouraged political violence.

The United States is not a democracy and never was.
Trump has not passed any law limiting speech. The federal government has no such authority.
It is Democrats that are funding and supporting looters and pillaging in the streets.
