I believe the problem is uneducated voters who blindly trust political candidates who propose un-constitional methods of doing things in a way that is not possible in our system. The most glaring example is trump, but they ALL (Democrats and Republicans alike do it),
Shutting down for two weeks slows nothing and costs huge amounts of extra money, it a failure of our elected officials.
