Republicans must move past Trump for sake of the party's future – and the nation's

Generally - I agree.
For both sides.

Despite what MAGA's think?
There is NO WAY that Trump will EVER be POTUS again.

He twice ran for POTUS.
Neither time could he win the popular vote.

(no doubt some MAGA dude will want to chime in - 'ever heard of the electoral college'...COMPLETELY, missing my point.)

And now that he is still peddling this 'rigged election' nonsense?

And (apparently) he smiled like a Cheshire cat, whilst some MAGA hooligans rioted (NOT insurrected) in the Capitol?
He has almost, completely lost the center right's and the indy vote.

And, today, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to win the POTUS election without the indy vote.
There simply are no longer, enough hardcore Reps and Dems to win it on their own.

Trump is over.

If he truly cared about America (which he doesn't - just like 99+% of all federal politicians)?
He would officially retire from politics.

Find a POTUS candidate that he can support.
And get behind them.

But he obviously won't (barring health/legal reasons).
