Republicans Won't Help Teachers Buy Books, Will Help Them Shoot Guns

Good morning....Walk up today and every day...make an difference:)To those who choose to walk out today, an action that most schools do not support, we can only hope that your reason for doing so is to honor the students who were killed...not to politicize this tragedy...but...
Here's one of the alternatives taking place here...students will meet in the gym at 2:21 Pm for 17 minutes, honor the lives and sharing stories of the victims. Students using their voices, getting together to support one another and harnessing that passion in the right direction....
A peaceful, non-political rally... But, for those walking out (as directed and organized by the Woman's March group).. one last request...try to remember that you aren't out there only for a political call to action...
And bundle up. The shirts and armbands won't be making an appearance out side today...

Over 3,000 schools are participating. From Forbes:

"Participating schools stretch across the U.S. and as far as Australia and Germany. Some students in the Washington, D.C., area plan to walk from the White House to the U.S. Capitol. To find out if a school in your area is participating, search the Women’s March website.

"Media giant Viacom has announced that its networks, including MTV, BET, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central, will suspend their programming for 17 minutes at 10 a.m. local time in support of the students. Students will also take over MTV’s social media accounts during that time."

Yes, it's political -- political action is how we create change in America. For those who prefer non-political change, grab your guns and move to your closest banana republic.

I'm very proud of these kids and how they are using their Constitutional right to peacefully assemble to address their grievances.

It's not politicizing, the walkout is to show our worthless leaders these shootings have to stop!
And they have done nothing!

Compassionate conservatives: "We care so much about the poor darling unborn fetuses. But once you're born, you're on your own!"

so you're the spokesperson for compassionate conservatives now? Because as I see it at least they want to do something effective by arming teachers instead of trying to do something that won't work, at least for a decade or more.
