Retards are why we cannot have good things

Phanty, if my thread title is no good, you are free to change it and warn me in PM.

"Mpox is better than monkeypox because it still contains 'pox', which speaks to the physical nature of the disease," Nsofor told NPR on Monday. "Removing 'monkey' removes the stigma that monkeypox comes with and deals with the possible misinformation" about how it's transmitted, he added, as it might falsely suggest monkeys are the main source of spreading the virus to humans.

So clearly they did not say the name was racist. Only racists would say that.

What say you, racists? Yes I am talking to you.

I bet your special-ed student's parents would find your use of the term "retarded" rather offensive.

How about it liberals, is this a derisory term in your world ? It is in mine. My step mother (an ex special-ed teacher would smack me into next week if I were to say such things.

Is this the sort of "teacher" you want for the developmentally challenged ?

I used to coach swimming to those kids.
We always referred to them as 'special needs'. Same as in dentistry.
Incredible that one who actually taught them refers to them as retards.

Exactly...they would not...not ever.....I started my career in Special Ed as a swimming coach...and went on to teach...and coach...When I started, the classification was Developmentally Handicapped...Trust me, no teacher would ever use that word....:palm:

Very unprofessional and completely unacceptable...even if he or she is not a Special Ed teacher...Don't wait for the condemnation from the liberals here...And that being said, this is not a current event....

It changes quite often...I think there are at least a dozen classifications now when it comes to eligibility for special ed and related services...developmentally delayed or intellectual disability are often used....
My certification was DH....

Is the APL troll claiming to be a teacher now? I don't believe that one.

The silence from the standard "woke" virtue signalers is a perfect example of their phoniness.

Sliced and diced again.

Just another troll thread, the only thing APL ever posts.
