Oh c'mon, MASH was seriously overrated and if it weren't for Klinger they never would have survived the Alan Alda "sensitive" MASH seasons.

I will agree with you about the show being overrated and that it got too sappy and drippy and over sensitive-touchy-feely over the second half of its run. But Klinger pretty much sucked as bad as the rest of the sappy characters.

That doesn't mean that it didn't have its moments.
