Ronald Reagan Movie Beats Box Office Expectations

1, What the film DOESN'T emphasize is that after that debacle the MSM framed the next debate on the premise that all Reagan had to do was just be coherent and he wins the debate ... DESPITE CONTENT. And that's what happened. Benefits of age when you actually live through and witness parts or recent history.

2. BFD! That doesn't take away the FACTS that I previously mentioned, let alone what's in #1 here.

3. See #2.

4. Actually, I gave the wrong title from memory. The correct title is There He Goes Again: Ronald Reagan's Reign of Error. by Pantheon 1983 authors Mark Green & Gail MacColl. Still available on Amazon, E-Bay and various other distributors. Just google it.
1. The RW fascist MSM?

4. Yes, Reagan made mistakes. When Jimmy Carter dies and a movie is made about him, will it only show the successes? Only the failures? A balanced view of his Presidency and post presidency work? Will the RW extremists bitch and moan about it while forgetting that movies are about selling tickets and making profits?

So you didn’t see the movie. Why didn’t you just say so?

DON'T TRY TO BLAME YOUR RACISM AND BIGOTRY ON THE DEAD, SYBIL!

Jimmy Carter implemented price controls, which put the nation into economic depression lasting 5 years.

So you didn’t see the movie. Why didn’t you just say so?

So, you're full of it! You ask a question, you give examples and when I correctly answer your questions and point out what your examples leave you, you suddenly make this bogus cop out claim.

Then you stupidly make an assumption based on box office.

Let me school you on a few things, bunky. The book is over 40 years old and is STILL being sold on various venues like Amazon. So you'd have to have a tally as to how many sales have been made in that time. Also, we're a nation of videots ... people like you who don't know a damn thing past their own birthdays, yet run their mouths with impunity like whatever they conclude about a subject.

Now, run-a-long and double down on your BS.

1. I wouldn't say "fascist", but when you look at who owns the Big Three and how they personally endorse/vote, it was no shock back in the day as to how they "reported" the news.

2. For the record, I don't abide by ANY silly PR or fluff piece movie, and critique them accordingly.

1. You mean the Capitalists who own big business?

2. God bless America. Bitch all you like. That's the great thing about the First Amendment....something Trump wants to limit.

Trump ignores First Amendment again and says news network should be investigated over Harris interview

Donald Trump has once again threatened a major broadcast network after he dropped out of an interview with 60 Minutes on CBS.

He baselessly suggested that the network did something criminal when the program interviewed his Democratic rival Kamala Harris, and claimed without evidence that the interview violated campaign finance laws.

“I’ve never seen this before, but the producers of 60 Minutes sliced and diced (‘cut and pasted’) Lyin’ Kamala’s answers to questions, which were virtually incoherent, over and over again, some by as many as four times in a single sentence or thought, all in an effort, possibly illegal as part of the ‘News Division,’ which must be licensed, to make her look ‘more Presidential,’ or a least, better,” Trump wrote on Truth Social on Wednesday.

He claimed that the interview may amount to a “major Campaign Finance Violation” and demanded a “MAJOR AND IMMEDIATE APOLOGY.”

The former president, raising spurious allegations of corruption and bias, has repeatedly threatened to somehow revoke broadcast licenses for major networks that air critical coverage.

1. Bingo!

2. Freedom of speech does not protect one from the consequences of lying or deceiving .... that is why you have laws against "slander" or "inciting to riot" or "disturbing the peace" and the like. we use to have safeguards against the blatant bias BS rampant in the media today. It was called the Fairness Doctrine. We can thank Ronnie Raygun's administration for deep sixing that and giving us the mess we have today.

Another movie coming out that I'll wait to see on streaming is "The Apprentice". It's giving Trump shit fits. LOL

You know, I distinctly remember a made for TV movie being done back when Trumpicana was hyping his "Art of the Deal" book. I don't think it even mentioned Roy Cohn, but don't quote me on that. If I can find it on the net, I'll post it here.

I saw it, I thought it was good… not great. It was entertaining.
The couple of reviews I saw didn't speak all that highly of it (not so much from a partisan perspective of the reviewers simply not liking Reagan but just the quality). To me Reagan is the GOAT so based on that I wanted to watch, but I don't want to watch something that isn't good regardless of the fact that I like the person.

What did you think was good about it?
