Rosalynn Carter funeral starts at noon.

The invite only attendees are, Joe and Jill Biden, Hillary and Bill Clinton, Michelle Obama and Melania Trump. I am very surprised that the Bushes are not attending. I wonder if they were invited or not. Why is Barak not attending.

These things are very interesting to me. I thought Barak and the Carters were good friends.

Tricia Yearwood and Garth Brooks are performing.

She always seemed like a very nice lady. May she rest in peace and may God have mercy on her soul. Too bad things will be ruined by having the Bidens clintons and mike there

Guests don't ruin funerals if they behave. Melania was the only one not in black.

Rosalynn Carter funeral: Watch live as Jimmy Carter and all 5 living first ladies among those expected to attend service

A memorial service for former first lady Rosalynn Carter will be held Tuesday in Atlanta.

Former Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, President Biden and first lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and all five living former first ladies — Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton — are expected to attend what is being billed as a “tribute service” at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church on the Emory University campus.

Carter was wheeled into the church in a wheelchair with a blanket wrapped around his legs and positioned in the front row.

May she rest in peace.

Maybe they had prior commitments? I was surprised that the Slovenia Slut would show up. Classy of the Carters to include her though.

ETA: Just read Guno's post. Looks like protocol is to invite former and current First Ladies to a FLOTUS funeral.

Melania didn't care about protocol. As FLOTUS she took the unprecedented step of not allowing the incoming Flotus to visit the White House during the transition.

So fucking what u ignorant fuck face

She was in dark grey

2. Do you have to wear black to a funeral?

In short, no. When it comes to knowing what to wear to a funeral that’s not black, there are an array of alternatives that men and women can wear. Although black is the most traditional of colors, smart and dark clothing is also acceptable.

Wearing dark grey or deep blue is just as appropriate as black, while brown and lighter greys are suitable for the vast majority of funeral services. However, unless specifically requested by the deceased or their family, you should avoid any bright colors such as yellows, oranges, pinks, and reds.

I voted for him twice as well, and would have done it three times if possible. Both of the Carters are/were inspiring examples of the best that America can offer. We were blessed to have them as our leaders.

I agree that that were both exemplary people of whom we can be and are proud.
That's simply not how I vote.
I vote policy positions, regardless of the person.

That's just a lifelong habit
if personal policy sounds too presumptuous.

People wear black at funerals. Everyone else understood that. Being the only one in grey should have told you something. She has a lot of lot of clothes and money. Laura Bush, Michele Obama and Hillary Clinton sat together and wore black. Melania's choice of grey was a statement.

At least this time it didn't say "I don't care" on the back. lol

A an interesting and lovely service, thought it one of the best of its kind I've seen. As for Melania, I wondered listening to the praises of Mrs. Carter's "first ladyship", reminiscent of Eleanor Roosevelt actually, what she was feeling then about her own mostly self serving time in the White House.

It was indeed very lovely... her grandson was amazing...
