Salvation Army Wants White Donors to Offer “Sincere Apology” for Their Racism

Exactly. Tom always forgets (or pretends to at any rate) that I lived most of my live in St. Louis, a place much more diverse than any of the hovel he calls home. Only a racist would believe that someone chooses to retire to an area because of its racial composition. When he choose to become a kept man in an Asian country, betcha it wasn't for racial reasons either, eh? lol

Do you own a parrot, Mujer de Buho?

I have the scars to prove it.

So do I.

Our “Chico” passed last summer. My esposa and I are still grieving. We had him for 14 years.

My daughter found a baby sparrow that was about to be swallowed whole by a hawk and nursed it to good health. She cried when she released her...”Barbie.”

Here's where the Salvation Army says exactly what DEMOCRAT doper claims they didn't:

Apology appears 9 times in the document.

Sincere appears 4 times.

Racism appears 224 times.

Put them together, and what do you get?

"And as we engage in conversations about race and racism, we must keep in mind that sincere repentance and apologies are necessary if we want to move towards racial reconciliation".

DEMOCRAT doper is a loser.

:rofl2:

“Lament requires us to search our hearts, determine where we have fallen and sincerely grieve.“

“True repentance is a decision to move away from sin and towards God. As believers, apology and forgiveness are not only a universal human need but are Kingdom values that Scripture points to as key to opening doors to healing in even the most difficult circumstances.”

LAMENT AND REPENT, COCKSUCKER! :rofl2:

I'm sorry about your doggo. They become part of your heart forever.

Parrots seem, on the other hand, to live forever. lol The oldest of ours is 32; I've been serving him for 27 of those years. The rest are 26, 25, 23, and unknown. "Unknown" because she came to us shortly before we moved up here. She was found in someone's backyard, nearly starved to death. They gave her to the parrot club we belonged to, and they in turn gave her to us. So she is at least six, possibly more. I believe more because she talks very well and was apparently around teenagers, and a small yappy dog. She has hilarious VERY LOUD screaming "phone conversations" that are mostly incomprehensible, but are clearly an angry teenage girl screeching at someone on the other end of the phone.

And aren't you sorry you asked? lol

No one owns parrots, pEarl. They own us.

In my experience, at least, the same goes for dogs.

I didn't let lieutenant dectective daughter drive a few block home last night and we just now finished a big family breakfast.

The dog blew me off and instead decided to sleep with her big sister (who always brings a new toy) last night.

I don't get no respect [as I tug at my collar like Rodney].

I’m glad I asked. I did not know there were parrot clubs.

My Mother-in-Law brought a small parrot from PR on an airplane. She hid it under her jacket. The parrot bit her several times but it arrived safely and is at my Sister-in-Law’s home.

It has a fairly large vocabulary now.

I did not know that parrots live so long. Much longer than most dogs.

Fickle creatures, aren't they? lol

What flavor of parrot does she have?

Macaws (we have two) can live to be over 100 years old. Ours are all "used." They came from more-or-less okay homes, except for one of the macaws who was abused. They broke one of his wings, so it only extends out a few inches from his body. He can only walk, not fly. I help him "fly" by holding his feet, holding him out on my arm, and running around and around the house as fast as I can. He flaps and thinks it's great fun. He's been my buddy for over 23 years now.

Who is Rana...you told me once long ago but I have forgotten.

That's Lesion's pet name for Phantasmal. He thinks that she gave me her mod password and that we can read your PMs to each other. :rofl2:

He's just trolling, which is what trolls do. As Grind has often stated:

Should we charge you with the care for Milquetoast Macaw (Into the Night)?
I think that he might respond well to baseball bat training.
At least that's what I'd try.
